- This morning make a journey to the south gate of Angkor Thom city, in the eleventh century Angkor Thom was populated by more than one million people, yet at the same time it is estimated that London had a population of only 35,000 people. We marvel at the eerie stone heads and evocative bas-reliefs of the Bayon temple, the central structure of Angkor Thom. We move on to the Terrace of Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then continue to visit the jungle-enveloped temple Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor, once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site.

- Afternoon continue to visit Angkor Wat. The temples of Angkor represent six hundred years (802-1432) of Khmer civilization - one of Asia’s greatest Kingdoms and Angkor Wat is one of its crowning glories. Soak up the atmosphere of Angkor from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. Finally visit Phnom Bakheng, the most popular sunset location in the area, offering a view of the Tonle Sap Lake and a distant Angkor Wat in the jungle.

- This morning set out on the picturesque drive to Phnom Penh (Appr. 5-6 hrs), following Route 6. You will be passing A small number of 1000-year-old stone bridges still exist off today’s sealed road, Kampong Thom, the major provincial town while some of the town was destroyed during the war years, Kampong Thom is still home to some good examples of colonial architecture.
- Continue to Skuon town where you can stretch your legs and wander in the busy market. Look out for the local delicacy; sautéed spiders.
- Then you will pull into Cambodia’s capital and Lunch at local Restaurant then check-in to your hotel.
- Afternoon visit National Museum, over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era status, lingas and other artifacts. Then visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Finally visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.
